FANTASTIC WORLDS PODCAST ADVENTURES THROUGH REIGN OF WINTER WHILE THE EXCLUSIVE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH COMBATS THE EXTINCTION CURSE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PAIZO
REDMOND, WASHINGTON AND CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (May 5, 2020): Paizo is pleased to announce that The Fantastic Worlds Podcast is joining the family as one of their officially licensed entertainment partners. What a fantastic way to start the day!
As part of the Fantastic Worlds Productions, the Fantastic Worlds Podcast is an actual-play tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) podcast that utilizes Paizo’s Pathfinder First Edition gaming system. Established in August 2018, the Fantastic Worlds crew produces an immersive podcast experience as they struggle against wintry witch herself Baba Yaga in the Reign of Winter Adventure Path. Meanwhile, soon they will take up a new fight as their previously unannounced foray into Paizo’s Extinction Curse Adventure Path for Pathfinder Second Edition with the announcement of their second podcast adventure, The Greatest Show on Earth!
Game Dad (GM) Dustin Alexander harries the team via the machinations of the Witch-Queens of Irrisen in Reign of Winter, and Jess Negin takes the reigns as the nefarious Ring Master (GM) in Extinction Curse while Abbie Lammel, Angel Espinoza, and Logan Mayne-Rizzi just try to keep their characters alive.

When Fantastic Worlds launched last August, its creators were stepping into a fairly crowded field of actual play podcasts. Since then, they’ve managed to set themselves apart from the pack and slowly grow their fanbase because of their ability to perfect one important element: balance. Each episode [contains] virtually equal amounts of world-building, character development, and high-stakes action, which is broken up by those all-important moments of levity where these five friends can just goof around a table… AV Club Full Review

A gem in the haystack of actual play podcasts
Its obvious effort is made in the production, and the players are excellent at developing and acting upon their characters’ motivations and personalities.[…] They truly keep the game fun, with high stakes, and fascinating backstories…

Fun diverse group
After commenting on Twitter about another podcast that lost their one and only female member of the group[,] without comment this podcast was recommended[…]. This podcast hit the spot and I enjoy the camaraderie and play style[…]. Give it a listen…
Fantastic Worlds Productions is composed of five friends who every other week unleash their overactive imaginations for the benefit of all. They strive to create both an intricate and personal experience in the Lost Omens setting via nuanced characters with complex motivations and even more complex interpersonal relationships. Drama runs high with this group whether the dice fall in their favor or not!

You got me to write a review
…The roleplay is super engaging and makes my heart hurt at times with how genuine and fun all the characters are. [I] love hearing another (mostly) queer party playing[…]. Highly recommend [this] to anyone that is a fan of Glass Cannon, Critical Role, High Rollers, or Find the Path. Truly exemplary work.

A fun and quirky adventure!
It’s fun. It’s feminist. It’s queer. It’s slightly unhinged. I love it…
One of the pillars of Fantastic Worlds Productions is our dedication to inclusivity. Women, People of Color, and members of the LGBT+ community are found in the characters played and the players themselves. What better way to be fantastic than to celebrate diversity?
“We know many Pathfinder players are roleplaying game enthusiasts and many play multiple games—regardless of the edition. And it is always more impactful to see or hear people having fun with your product than to tell people it’s fun; show, don’t tell. So Paizo welcomes the experienced, diverse voices of Fantastic Worlds Productions and we can’t wait to see what stories they tell next!” said Aaron Shanks, Marketing and Media Manager for Paizo.
Fantastic Worlds Productions is so excited to invite you all to join them in this next momentous step of their journey. They love to engage with their community of fans and listeners and can be found on various social media platforms such as Twitter @fantasticpods and Instagram @fantasticworldspod, on their dedicated Discord server which can be accessed through the link below, and in their fledgling subreddit r/FantasticWorldsPod.
Come along on this fantastic ride and learn more at Fantastic Worlds Productions. Share in the mirth. Revel in the glory. But most important, fall in love with the cooperative and improvised story delivered every two weeks on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, & wherever else podcasts are available.
